I Love Nail Polish Tag!

Hi everyone. I was on Youtube and one of the gurus I watch did a I <3 Nail Polish Tag and I thought it would be good to try so here it is:
This is my favorite base coat next to the Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hardener. This dry fast and makes my nails grow strong and helps them from breaking it also anchors to my nail better to make my manicure last longer.

The Julep Freedom Polymer Top Coat is my absolute favorite top coat in the whole universe. It is fast drying and makes your nails shinny and gel like. You can use regular nail polish and put this on and cure it in natural sun light or a light bulb for 10 minutes and it is hard as a rock and it is long lasting. I strongly recommend this to any one.

Julep, any Sally Hansen Polish, and Essie are the polishes I find I use the most. I am not really into name brand polishes but these are the polishes I use more often.

I am hooked on painting my nails. Of course a Maniac for Nails.

I hardly have nude nails but when I do I like to use sheer as can be. With 2 coats of this polish I have completed my neutral nails.

I love pink. I am a pink girl 100%. Any shade of pink I love. I do like red but I find that it makes my skin look darker and it looks to grown up to me. I wear pink all year around and I wear red during the holidays.

This is a very hard one. I love glitter nails but I love a classic matte. It just depends on the mood.

My go to polish right now is anything pink, blue, green, yellow, purple, metallic, glitter, and matte. Whether it is pastel or neon.

My nails are summer fun flower nails. I have on a white base with hand painted flowers and a multi colored glitter accent nail. Let me now in the comments below if you want a post about these nails and how I painted the flowers.

So if I had a nail polish line what would i name it. Well... Nail Maniac of course. I hope one day.

So this was fun. I hope you know a little more about Nail Maniac and I hope you try this out and send me your answers and thought sin the comments down below or to my email I would love to hear it. Until next post bye.
                                                 Love,

My Inspirations from Pintrest!

Hi everyone. So i have been on Printrest recently and absolutely love it because it has so many ideas for nails. Since I am young I love fun, mix match nails. I have been following the pinner named Amber and she does many nail designs and I thought of doing a copy cat of it, so this is how I did it.

Nail Polishes Used:
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hardener
Revlon Top Speed in Black Magic
Nabi in Coral
Santee in Perfect Silver
Nabi in Pastel Pink
Nabi in Pastel Green
Jordana in White
Essie in Good to Go Topcoat

Items Used:
Black Acrylic Paint
White Acrylic Paint
Small Tip Dotting Tool
Medium Length Striping Brush
Julep Cuticle Oil

How to:
  1. Paint your base coat.
  2. Paint your thumb and ring finger 2 coats of black, your pinky and index finger 2 coats of grey, and you middle finger 2 coats of coral.
  3. On your middle finger take your black acrylic paint or black polish and make 8 small dots in a line close together going down the center of your finger. Then on each side of the line dot 3 dots close together to make the cross.
  4. On your thumb use white acrylic paint or white polish and your medium striping brush to create thin white lines. Take your time and use black paint or black polish to correct your lines if need to.
  5. On your ring finger make white blobs on the nail where you want your roses.( This will make the pink polish stand out against the black background) Once the white is dry paint over the white blobs with the darkest pink. Right after use the light pink and swirl it in the dark pink blob on your nail. This will make different swirls of pink. Keep swirling the dark pink and light pink until you get your desired rose. Then add short green leaves with the swipe of your dotting tool.
  6. Once everything is dry add a top coat to smooth out your design and prevent it from chipping.
So I hope you guys like this design and try it out. Send your recreations to ocnailmaniac@gmail.com. If you don't have a Pintrest and would like one email me and I will invite you in to this wonderful world of pinning.

                                         Love,

Geometric Nails

Theses nails may look hard to do but as long as you can paint lines you can do it. I like different patterns on each of my nails. In this nail design I used 2 different techniques to create the geometric nails. One technique is traditional and the other is not usually seen. I looked for ombre geometric nails and could not find the exact ones I was looking for. Here is my take on Geometric Nails.

Nail Polishes Used:
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hardener
Jordana in White
Julep in Niecy
NYC Long Wearing in 152 Tudor City Teal
Julep in Bea
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Lacey lilac
Nabi Nail Lacquer in Fruit Green
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Celeb city
Julep in Kaylen
Julep Freedom Polymer Top coat

Items Used:
Cosmetic Makeup Sponge Wedge
Medium Nail Art Brush
Black Acrylic Paint
Nail Art Striping Tape (if you do not have striping tape cut thin pieces of tape)

The step I took to create the design was:
1. Paint all of your nails a thin coat of white.
2. Choose the colors for the ombre nails and the block nails.
3. For the Ombre nails paint three lines across a makeup sponge and sponge across the nail in a horizontal pattern for the ombre effect. You may need to do this process 2-3 times to make is opaque.
4.Once you finish this clean up around your nails with a Q-tip and nail polish remover.
5. Paint simple lines to create a pattern similar to the taped off nails in the picture shown above.
6. For the block nails use the tape to make a geometric pattern as shown on the picture above then use different colors and paint over the white then immediately pull the tape off for a clean look.
7. Once you are done paint over the white spaces with the black acrylic paint and the medium nail art brush. Take your time and if you mess up you can use 99% alcohol and a cotton ball over dry nail polish to wipe off the paint and it will not damage the nail polish.
8. Let everything dry and add a good top coat!

Your Geometric manicure is complete! I would love you to try this and send it to my email. I hope this helps and remember nail art is an art and is never perfect. With patience you can create millions of designs.

                                              Love,
